The Brief

An upper-class
vegan affair.

A concept identity for a vegan café with taste — and a point of view.

Polished typography sets the tone; a cast of stickers and one-liners gives it personality. High-end, low ego.

The Mark

Gazebo rising-steam mark

The steam,
the serif,
the standard.

The rising-steam vector signals something freshly made; the high-contrast letterforms signal where it's served. Together they read the same at 32px on a favicon and three feet tall on a lightbox.

03

The Palette

One green,
held with discipline.

Café Green#46736B
Warm Tan#D9D1C7
White#FFFFFF

Three colors, no more. Green for nature and the vegan heart of it; tan for the seriousness and quiet luxury; white for the room to breathe. The green does almost all the work — calm on a menu, confident on a sign, unmistakable on a sticker.
